SEVEN. The glorious, unexpected color of a West Texas sunset.

I will not be the first one to praise Texas for its landscape, my heart is buried deep in the Rocky Mountains. However, breath becomes stuck in my throat when a West Texas sun rolls away leaving traces of magenta, auburn and golden plumage feathery in the expansive sky.
Silhouettes of trees stand stark and distinct against the brilliantly painted sky.
A sight I will always be stunned by; a vision of God's creativity and goodness.
What do you love about Texas?
I love Texas for it's expansive landscape. These pictures are phenomenal. When I stand in Texas, especially west Texas, I feel like I can travel for miles in any direction and be no closer to the Texas border. Sometimes the vastness is so overwhelming, it's uncomfortable. The best way i can think to describe it is reversed claustrophobia. My dear, sweet Texas! :)
